IB Biology is part of the school's prestigious IB (International Baccalaureate) Program. IB Biology at Diamond Bar is an HL or Higher level class. It is taken during the Junior and Senior years of school. In addition to learning course material, students are required to complete IA's or Internal Assessments which are submitted to an IB moderator in different parts of the world. Students also complete IB tests to obtain their IB Diploma. IB Biology focuses on learning to become critical and independent thinkers. They learn to focus on the process of science and how science works. They also learn of Biology affects our lives and the role of Biology in our futures.
